Oerhört komplicerat

Computer Sweden tycker det är svårt att räkna till en halv:
Oracles prismodell som baseras på servrar är oerhört komplicerad. Priset
beräknas efter antalet processorer i en server. Om processorer har flera kärnor
används ett omräkningstal. För processorer från Intel och AMD används 0,5. Det
innebär att en Intel­server med en fyrkärne­processor i Oracles
pris­modell anses ha två processorer, vilket innebär ett dubbelt så högt
licenspris för programmet för den som vill uppgradera servern.

Vägarbetselände

Då var det dags igen, igår inleddes 7 veckors beläggningsarbete på motorvägen, resultaten lät inte vänta på sig. Jag som just köpt ny bilstereo och var tvungen att prova den imorse. Ska man jobba över för att slippa kön eller ska man sluta tidigare? Man vill ju hem tidigt på måndagar, speciellt med detta vädret och en ny dator därhemma. Fick in Vista Enterprise igår, kanske ska byta till Ultimate idag?
